Tile Installation project

Tile Installation

Layout planned before the first cut

Good tile work is decided before any thinset is mixed. We dry-lay, center the pattern, and place the cuts where you won't stare at them — then waterproof properly behind every wet wall.

What's included

Everything in the scope

  • Floor tile — porcelain, ceramic, natural stone
  • Shower walls, pans, and niches
  • Kitchen and bar backsplashes
  • Large-format and slab tile
  • Waterproof membrane systems
  • Uncoupling membranes over slabs
  • Heated floor system installation
  • Grout, caulk, and sealing
Typical investment

Waterproofing photographed

We document the membrane before tile so you know it's there.

Grout lines that stay straight

Leveling systems and consistent spacers, edge to edge.

Tile FAQs

How much extra tile should I order?+

10% overage for straight layouts, 15–20% for diagonal or herringbone. Order it all in one lot — shade varies between production runs.

Do you seal grout?+

Yes, cement grout gets sealed after full cure. Epoxy grout doesn't need it.

Can you tile over existing tile?+

Sometimes on floors if it's flat and well bonded. In showers we always tear out to the studs.

How long before I can use the shower?+

Plan on 72 hours after grouting for full cure.
